Analysis of Bauxite Prepared as Fused Bead Using ED-XRF
X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) is an accepted technique for analyzing bauxite. The sample preparation recommended for the analysis of bauxite is to prepare the sample as fused bead. One pretreatment step for preparing fused beads is to ignite the samples before the fusion process.

O in bauxite prepared as fused bead.
This application report shows that the SPECTRO XEPOS ED-XRF is able to analyze bauxite prepared as fused beads with good precision and accuracy.
